As the summer is slowly coming to an end–my life seems to be going in fast forward. I feel like things have been non-stop since the beginning of July. I really haven’t felt at home since then– spending a total of 29 days away from home! I have been so blessed to be able to have such amazing adventures..
First starting in San Antonio- where I got to spend the fourth of July with Daniel. We of course did a lot of touristy things like the Alamo, Seaworld, Tower of America and the Riverwalk. Here are my two favorite shots from the trip!

And Daniel and I playing tourist’s at the Alamo:

Within days of getting back from that trip I began packing and heading out for an adventure in Nicaragua and one amazing wedding that has yet to be debut on the blog (soon..sometime soon!). Days after coming back from that trip we began packing the entire house to head out to our new home in Omaha, Nebraska. The drive was 13 hours from Portales, NM to Omaha, NE- it was probably one of the easiest road trips I have ever done!
We arrived early Friday Morning enough time to get about 2 hours of sleep and then we were out the door to begin our house hunting adventure. By 10 o’clock we had viewed about 10 homes non of which really sparked our interest- the adventure continued until Saturday evening when we finally found the one! We were able to unload and move into the house Sunday Morning. My Dad and brother came up to help unload the truck! After about 5 minutes I think my brother was second guessing his idea to volunteer to help unload! The truck was full..

I am so very thankful they were able to help–we were able to unload the entire truck in about 2 hours! Record timing since it took Daniel and I about a day and half to load it ourselves!
By Tuesday we were headed out for another adventure to visit Daniel’s family (this trip was long overdue about a year since we had last seen them!). We are currently stalled in the airport waiting for our connecting flight. All I can think about is the sessions I have to finish and the boxes upon boxes of unpacking to do.
And before the summer comes to an end we have 2 more adventures- we will be at the Lake of the Ozarks in the next week and then heading to Kansas City, Missouri for some exciting sessions!
I am excited for all the adventures to come.. this summer has been fantastic even if it has been spent in hotels, airports, and on the road!
