Baby K has all the smiles and wins over the ladies.  When he first showed up he was wearing a bib that said chick magnet, talk about being correct.  His smile just captures your heart and you can already tell he is a sweetie!  This is just one photo that I absolutly love.  img_3221-2-copy

Peas and Strawberries

May 28, 2009

I am a picky eater to an extent, rarely like to try new things, I don’t like things that have an unusual texture, odd color, smell, etc. which is about normal for most people.  I never tried olives until Daniel suggested I should and now they are one of my favorite things to eat! The things we learn.  Well I thought I was picky until I met Davin, my 6 year old nephew.  Davin  is a pill to get to eat anything! The latest trick that works is to sprinkled his food with  Parmesan cheese and he will eat it! Anything and everything gets sprinkled! Well we had peas for dinner last night and he would not try one, absolutely refused.  It’s typical though -I mean you ask a kid to try something they have never tried and usually they will be like no way! Like me with the olives, no thank you! So someone suggested he try them with something.  He choose strawberries, even coming up with a plan to hide them in the middle hole of the strawberry.   Well about 20 peas and a whole thing of strawberries later we got the kid to eat peas!

He thought the combination was the best thing in the word, we beg to differ. You should try it let me know what you think! So go eat your peas and strawberries!

Traveling Machine

May 27, 2009

Over the past month I have visited more states than the past year! First off moving from our lovely home in Destin, Florida to our new home in New Mexico. That was quite the road trip! I need to share with you all the hilarious pictures I have of our cats passed out from the many hours in the car ride. The dogs did fabulous I was very proud of them! Then a few weeks ago Daniel and I drove to visit friends and some business in El Paso, Texas then on to Missouri for more sessions and of course family! I have had a blast for the few short days I have been at the Lake of the Ozarks. I got to spend time with my nieces and nephew even my cousins! Now we are leaving to go visit more family and more work in Oklahoma! Man oh man did all this make May fly by!! I will have lots of sneak peaks, sessions and updates for you all once I get back and settled in New Mexico, but for now just wanted to update you all on where I am what is going on and the crazyness of it all!

Just a heads up June is filling up fast for sessions, so if you are interested send me an email kristin@boldkreativephotography.com and we will work out some dates and times to get you set up with a session! Of course July, August, September do have some openings so start planning ahead for your Christmas gifts and pictures!

Here is a picture of the Lake of the Ozarks.  It’s beautiful here! If you have never been you should visit sometime!
