September 28, 2009

are you ready?
christmas1

I know I am not, I haven’t even started but really we have a few more months right?  But like every year it is going to catch up on me and chances are the same thing happens to you right

Well start planning now I have a few suggestions for you:

Pictures

Lets face it you need updated family pictures, grandma is always asking for pictures of her grand kids, and of course mom would love some of you and the family.  That is why I say pictures.   How perfect of a gift is that? You have a family session and get some great family photos you have a gift for grandma, mom and yourself!  How awesome is that?

I also offer Gift Certificates.  These can be given to a family member as a nice little hint that you would like some updated family pictures, or can just be given just for fun!  These gift certificates also don’t have to be just used for the holidays they can be great for birthdays or even baby showers!  I can work on a gift registry if you are about to have a baby shower, and we can get a list of things you would like to pass out to friends and family planning to come to the shower.

Also for The Holidays I have several Holiday Cards that can be ordered from your family session, even if you have had a session with me in that past year these can be ordered, just send me an e-mail. kristin@boldkreativephotography.com

These Holiday Cards are 5×7 size have a matching back, they are sold in sets of 25. Wording can be changed, some colors and a few other things to get them customized to what you are looking for. Of course I had to put these together in a slide show so we could get some holiday music to get you all in the holiday spirit! :)

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting on the of the sweetest soon to be 4 year old little girl. Her name is Riley, she is not only adorable, but sweet and a blast to be around! She also has a disorder called Microcephaly. Have you ever heard of Microcephaly? It is actually becoming a more common disorder with children than Autism. Unbelievable ,right? Microcephaly is a neurodevelopmental disorder in which the circumference of the head is more than two standard deviations smaller than average for the person’s age and sex. I happen to have met this family at the right time cause, National Microcephaly Day is coming up, September 30th, you can help join the cause and help raise awareness about this disorder. Check out this website for more information http://www.childrenwithmicro.org/

Here are some of my favorites of the family from the day I spent with them:

I was able to give Riley a fun photo session as part of the Littlest Heroes Project. An amazing organization that lets a child feel even more beautiful for a day.
