I traveled home to Missouri for the holidays and was able to work in some very AWESOME sessions, 2 engagements, a super sexy boudoir session and one of my personal favorites a very special operation love session for two brothers that are about to deploy.
I have known this family for many years– too many to count! To give you a little insight on the family and our history. Diane is the mom of these two very brave boys; Diane and my mom have been friends for years, and usually when we all get together the two of them reminisce on the days of all of us kids growing up together. When my mom called me about an idea she had for an operation love session for Diane, I was overjoyed with excitement! Caleb is the younger of the two and just graduated basic, and will be deploying in the next few days. Talk about a great graduation present! Cody the older of the two is also in the Army,( I believe in the reserves now ) and should deploy sometime in the next month or so, as well. Talk about a rough start to the year for Diane. The little solider is the boys nephew. The weather was not on our side at all for the session, but with towels, rain jackets and a Ziploc bag we were determined to get some good pictures for these boys and the family! I have to commend the family for making the session so much more amazing, despite the weather and the cold it was a blast– so Thank you!’

How cute is this little guy?

If you might be interested in sending these boys a care package just send me an email (kristin@boldkreativephotography.com) and I will forward their information to you!
