This was one of the most fun engagement sessions ever!!

I pull up meet the couple and hop on into their truck, and we start down this dirt road on to our little adventure.  Within the first couple of minutes I already had one instant friend, in the backseat next to me was, Marley.  Here is a picture of him! How adorable is he? Pets- animals win me over so easily.

The next couple of minutes were a wild adventure, we pull up to a fence open it and before we can we get the gate closed a horse darts through to this open pasture full of green grass! Heaven to him, panic to us! I didn’t grow up on a ranch or farm so horse wrangling to me is a new sport. My short legs and camera gear in tow, I am trying as best as I can to help but I think I am more of a distraction! We decided to let the horse have his grass and on our way out to try to get him back in, so hop back in the truck. Jason begins to tell me a little about himself, some of it was a little to much information! He was quick to point out a few things he doesn’t particularity like about himself and we all shared a great laugh! I felt like I had 3 instant friends and that to me on a photo session is what I love- to meet as total strangers and end the session feeling friendship! LOVE!

Okay anyway, long story, here are the pictures!!

This is what Marley did most of the session, find a stick bring it to us, and lay down and wait for us to throw it, talk about manners!

A zoomed out picture to show what I was actually going for in this photo:

Oh and if you are wondering, yes we did the horse back in! Marley actually came to the rescue!

Congratulations on the Engagement again,  who knows maybe I will be in Vegas for the wedding for you all!

Clovis has an ART Gallery!!!   Have you heard of Gallery 15?

Seen it?   Gallery 15 is the green stucco building on the left side of the road on your way to Texico.   It is a neat little art gallery with a little bit of everything- even Lunch!!

I happened to have heard through the grapevine that they had great sandwiches, in my hunt to find new unique places to try for lunch I stopped in one day.   I was totally amazed by the artwork, the friendly people and then the food was amazing!! The menu changes a little bit each day, and just has some unique sandwiches that you should try!

This is one of my favorite paintings that I always stare at when I am in there:

While in there trying lunch look around the gallery at the artwork, from mostly local artists.  You might see some familiar work if you are a fan of my work.  I actually have 2 pieces of work currently featured in the gallery!

“Growing up Country”

“Cowboy Love Story”

Gallery 15 was also feature on Clovis Pulse click here for more pictures and information

These two girls were such naturals in front of the camera,  within the first couple of minutes, I asked them to just be themselves, show a little fun attitude, and oh boy they took that to a whole new level!

Meet:  Heather & Amanda –identical twins, minus a few slight differences.

Amanda is a slightly taller- she was also born 17 minutes earlier while Heather loves pink  & Amanda loves blue.  Just a few fun facts!!  These girls brought a personality to the photo shoot and I loved it!  contrary to the photos, they say they hardly dress alike;  but the matching shirts seen in this photo shoot is an ironic story.  Come to find out, grandma bought one shirt for one of them, and mom not knowing about this had bought the shirt for the other one!  I guess this happens often they say- so they are slowly adapting to wearing the same shirts and loving it!

Girls I had a blast working with you thank you for making it such a fun, amazing session! I look forward to take 2 on the session!
